We know the collision repair process can be confusing—especially when insurance companies and rentals get involved. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we hear at Larry Walker Body Shop. If you don’t see yours here, just give us a call or stop by either shop. We’re always happy to help.
No. Every vehicle must be inspected in person before we can provide an estimate. Photos rarely show hidden damage, and insurance companies won’t pay for what can’t be documented. A short visit allows us to see the full scope of the repair and order parts right away.
No appointment is needed. Simply stop by during business hours, and one of our estimators will take a look at your vehicle. We’ll give you next steps and answer any questions about your insurance claim.
Yes—every day. we work with ALL Insurance companies, including Nationwide, State Farm, Farm Bureau, Allstate, and more. Our I-CAR Gold Class status and DRP relationships help ensure your claim moves smoothly from start to finish.
Absolutely. We’ll contact the rental company and schedule the vehicle for you so you’re never left without transportation. Many other shops make you do this yourself—we take care of it for you.
You’ll receive updates every Tuesday and Thursday by text or phone—whichever you prefer. We’ll also call if anything changes or when your vehicle is ready for pickup.
Once we’ve seen the vehicle and written the estimate, we’ll provide an estimated completion timeline. We order parts immediately and schedule work to keep cars moving—not sitting. Delivery times vary depending on damage, parts availability, and insurance approval.
We wash every vehicle before delivery, but we’re not a full-service detailing shop. Our focus is high-quality collision repair and refinishing.
Our main focus is late-model vehicles (2020 and newer), but we’ll repair older models when parts are available. We’ll always be upfront about what’s realistic for your make and year.
Yes. We’re an I-CAR Gold Class facility and follow OEM repair procedures for every vehicle we touch. That means your car is repaired to factory-recommended standards.
Most estimates take around 15–30 minutes, depending on damage. For more complex hits, we’ll walk you through what’s needed and keep you updated.
Bring your insurance claim number, your insurance company’s information, and any paperwork you already have. If you don’t have everything yet, don’t worry — we’ll help you through it.
